Original German Bundeswehr leather flight jacket produced by Pausch, a known military contractor. This is an issue-pattern Fliegerlederjacke (pilot’s leather jacket) manufactured to Bundeswehr technical standards, intended for Luftwaffe flight and ground crew use.
Constructed from heavy, pebbled leather with a ribbed wool knit collar, cuffs, and waistband, this jacket follows the classic European flight silhouette—shorter body, clean lines, and functional detailing. The interior is fully lined in distinctive orange/red cotton twill, a hallmark of many post-war European military flight garments.
Details & Construction:
Measurements:
Shoulder 20.5" | Pit to pit 23" | Length 26"
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Leather remains supple with natural creasing from wear. Knit cuffs and waistband are intact. Lining shows normal age-related wear but no major damage. A solid, wearable example.
Fit Notes:
Tagged sizing is no longer present, but fits like a men’s Medium (European military cut). Best compared to a trim bomber fit rather than a modern oversized jacket.
