Japanese Sashiko Utility Trunks
Built in California from a heavyweight 13 oz Japanese sashiko cloth, these trunks blur the line between board shorts, utility shorts, and everyday summer wear.
Originally developed as a reinforcement weave, sashiko is prized for its durability, texture, and the way it softens and develops character over time. It’s uncommon to see a fabric like this used in swim trunks, which is exactly why we chose it.
Made in collaboration with Tanner California, each pair features a clean, tailored silhouette, oversized utility pockets, brass grommet drainage details, and a traditional lace-up waistband inspired by vintage surf trunks.
